Cover Supervisor

Are you passionate about supporting the next generation’s education? Academics are currently recruiting a dedicated cover supervisor to work in a daily supply basis in secondary schools across Warrington starting ASAP!
As a cover supervisor you will be a crucial part of maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher.
Main Cover Supervisor responsibilities:
* Supervise the classroom in the absence of the usual class teacher
* Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students engage in meaningful activities
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a positive and respectful atmosphere
* Follow school policies and procedures to maintain a safe learning environment
* Manage the class behaviour following the schools policies and procedures
What you will need to work as a Cover Supervisor with Academics:
* Previous experience supporting children and/or young adults is desirable
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage the classroom effectively and adapt to different school environments
* Flexible and reliable, with a positive attitude towards education
* Enhanced DBS certificate registered to the update service, or be willing to get one (Cost applied)
