Key Responsibilities:
* Providing one-on-one support to students with SEN, including those with challenging behaviour.
* Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Management Plans (BMPs).
* Supporting students in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
* Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to create inclusive and engaging learning experiences.
What we are looking for as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a secondary school setting.
* Ability to effectively manage challenging behaviour with patience, empathy, and resilience.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
* A proactive and flexible attitude, with a willingness to adapt to the changing needs of students and the school environment.
