We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work at one of our many schools located in Havering. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide invaluable support to students, ensuring their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist teachers in delivering lessons and activities.
* Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance.
* Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Support students with special educational needs or disabilities.
* Supervise students during class and break times.
* Assist with classroom preparation and resource organization.
* Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and provide feedback.
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance and behaviour.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children or young people is preferred but not essential.
* A genuine passion for education and supporting student learning.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work well as part of a team.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
* Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are desirable but not essential.
